Last week our annual demonstration of ballet and classical dance took place in the Performing Arts Centre. 64 pupils from Reception to Year 6 took part over two evenings, showing a selection of new syllabus work and dances from last year’s examinations.

Despite many ‘backstage’ nerves, I was pleased to see all pupils, regardless of year group, encouraging and supporting one another, then summoning up their courage to perform with confidence to an audience of relatives and staff.

The evenings were a good opportunity for the children to showcase their efforts from the past year and to celebrate their examination successes.
