I have been a Governor and Trustee of St. Aubyn’s since 1992 and I have found this to be a rewarding and fulfilling experience. Working with my fellow Governors and the senior management team, we have improved the fabric of the school with dedicated sports facilities, a Performing Arts Centre, new classrooms, a whole school library and two computer suites.
St Aubyn’s (Woodford Green) School Trust is both a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales. The school Governors are both Trustees and Directors accountable to the Charity Commission and Companies House. Governors are appointed by invitation of the Board, are not employees of the school and receive no remuneration for the services they provide. As the school is a charity with no shareholders or owners, all income received is spent on developing the resources and facilities. There is a continuing commitment by Governors to maintain a fully resourced well-staffed school, offering excellent modern facilities and small teaching groups and classes.
It is always a pleasure to visit the school and see these facilities being used by the pupils using the words of our school motto - Bravely, Faithfully, Happily.
