On Tuesday 16th January, some year 5 and year 6 pupils were involved in a workshop taken  to introduce them to the skills of debating. Haileybury’s Master i/c of Debating, Mr Blair, helped the children to learn about how they could use their voice, body language and eye contact. They also discovered that one of the best tools when arguing is to explain to the opposition why they are wrong!

Debating Club resumes for Senior School pupils on 19th January and we hope to see some of these skills being used.
