Performing in public is a thrilling experience and something which really helps children’s confidence grow. Drama is an important part of the all round educational experience we provide and children are encouraged to take part in performances from an early age. This may be as part of a class assembly or as a character in one of the numerous productions which take place over the course of the year. These range from simple nativities in Foundation stage to Shakespeare productions in the Senior school.
Drama does form part of the children’s literacy curriculum but we are supported in the delivery of drama skills by visiting actors and theatre groups. The purpose built Performing Arts Centre with its excellent facilities allows for productions of the highest calibre.
