Year 6 pupils put their practical science skills to good use recently as they produced Jam  from apples picked from the School grounds. Mr. Lander's lab was producing some delightful smells during the project as the pupils learned to:

1)      Use a Bunsen burner

2)      Filter and separate mixtures

3)      Use thermometers and measure in volume (liquids) and mass (grams)

4)    Decide what  is a chemical reaction?
