St Aubyn's School Society
Welcome to the web page of the St Aubyn's School Society. The society is a partnership between the teachers, parents and the children themselves.
SASS aims to:
•Improve the amenities at the school by providing extra facilities.
•Promote good relationships between parents, pupils and teachers.
•Organise events which are fun and raise funds.
SASS is run by the committee which consists of twenty parents plus four teachers, elected annually, and the Head Teacher serving as President. The parents and teachers are drawn from all parts of the school, thus ensuring a balance of views.
Every parent is a member of the school society - a membership charge is made at the beginning of each school year and the committee serves to organize events with the help of all parents where possible. The committee welcomes help, suggestions and ideas for new events.
The monthly committee sessions manage to be lively, participative and productive, all at the same time! The funds raised are spent on extra facilities for the school as a whole.
