The recent Cadets Skill at Arms weekend was a big success.

On Saturday they split into two groups.  The novice program helped the beginners team learn about arms safety, the law, range procedures and introduced them to arms development, shooting and marksmanship. For those cadets who were more experienced, there was a recap of weapons safety before range practice, advanced marksmaship and an introduction to the SA80 family and it’s weapon handling drills for safe use and care. 

On Sunday cadets were introduced to pistols and marksmanship with competitive practice.

All cadets passed their safety tests with Lance Corporals Kidd, Banks & Lander achieving marksmanship badges.
